Think about some of the vague plans or dreams you've had for a while - some of the things you have thought you will do 'one day' - Maybe you've been saying 'one day I'll learn to...' or 'when I'm fitter I will...' or 'when I have enough time I'll...' or 'Id really like to visit...' or 'when the children grow up...' or 'when I have more money...' or even 'when I retire I will...'
List at least 6 of these things -

Sometimes dreams are just dreams – nice to think about but not really something you intend to do, and that’s fine. Go through your list and identify how important each activity is to you on a scale of 1 to 5, where 5 is very important and 1 means it’s just a fantasy.
The calendar contains 365 named days and ‘one day’ isn’t one of them, so taking each of your 3 most important dreams in turn, decide what you want to do over the following year to make that dream start to happen by responding to the following questions –
- What will completing this dream give you?
- What will be the effect of not achieving this dream?
- What have you already done towards achieving this dream?
- How soon would you like to achieve this dream?
- What actions will you need to take to make this dream come true?
- What new information do you need to help you?
- What is your first step?
- When will you take it?
- What support might you need? – who can give you that?
